Man Pulled from Motel Pool Dies: Authorities

Authorities have not identified a man found in a motel pool in Camp Springs, who died at an area hospital.

Prince George’s County firefighters and medics were called to the Days Inn at 5151 Allentown Road Sunday afternoon, where they found a man in the swimming pool.

Rescuers removed the victim from the water and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities do not know circumstances before rescuers arrived at the scene. Spokesman Mark Brady said on Twitter “It is rare to find a victim still in water upon units arrival.”
