New Person of Interest Sought in Girl's Sexual Assault at CVS Store

Prince George's County Police say the 6-year-old's parent was in the store, but not with the child when a man touched her.

Prince George’s County Police say a surveillance photo released last week was of a man unconnected to the sexual assault of a 6-year-old girl at a Riverdale pharmacy, but they have photos of a new person of interest.

Police have shared surveillance photos of the man, who may be a suspect in the assault of the child in the CVS store at Riverdale Road on June 12.

It appears the man approached the girl and inappropriately touched her before she was able to push him away. The child’s parent was in the store, but not with the girl at the time.
