Shooting Victim Driven to Metro Station, Later Dies: Police

A Washington, D.C., man died at a hospital after being shot in Capitol Heights. Police say a $25,000 reward is being offered for leads.

A Washington, D.C., man died after he was shot in a car in Capitol Heights and driven to meet paramedics at a Metro station, authorities say.

The Prince George’s County Police Department says Davon Terrell Fogg, 22, of F Street in Southeast Washington died Sunday night.

Detectives say Fogg had been shot in a car in the 5100 block of Southern Avenue. After the shooting, Fogg was driven to the Capitol Heights Metro station to meet with paramedics about 9:15 p.m.

He was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.

Investigators do not believe this was a random act and are seeking suspects in the case. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the homicide.
