Son Charged With Killing Father During Argument

A 27-year-old man is charged with murder in the stabbing death of his 74-year-old father.

A Clinton man has been charged with stabbing his father during during an argument Saturday night, say Prince George’s County Police.

Andre Picarriello, 27, has been charged with first- and second-degree murder in the death of 74-year-old Guillermo Picarriello. Both lived in the 5600 block of Fishermens Court.

About 9:30 p.m. Saturday, patrol officers were called to the family’s home for a stabbing. When they arrived, they found the older Picarriello suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

Detectives believe the suspect stabbed his father after the two argued. The suspect then left the home and was arrested Sunday morning in Charles County on an unrelated charge. He is currently in custody in Charles County.
