State Trooper Charged with Sex Offense

Prince George's County Police allege a trooper from Fort Washington forced a woman to perform a sex act at gunpoint.

A Maryland state trooper from Fort Washington has been charged with forcing a woman to perform a sex act against her will at gunpoint, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

Brian Tucker, 43, of Fort Washington was off duty from the Maryland State Police at the time of the alleged offense.

A Prince George’s County Police Department officer was on patrol in the area of Rochell Avenue and Hazelwood Drive about 2 a.m. Monday. The officer saw an SUV parked in a cul-de-sac of a commercial area, and saw Tucker and the victim standing by the passenger side of the vehicle as he went to investigate. The woman told the officer Tucker had a gun; police say Tucker then identified himself as a state trooper.

Investigators say Tucker and the victim had agreed to engage in a sex act in exchange for money. During that encounter, the woman says Tucker forced her at gunpoint to engage in an additional sex act.

Tucker is charged with first-degree sex offense and a handgun charge. The gun at the scene was not the trooper’s duty weapon.
