Dr. Tyler Boehmer has a DMA degree from the University of Kansas, graduating with honors. His recent accolades include first prize in the 2019 Miami Internationl Organ Competition, and second prize and audience prize in the 2023 International Organ Competition Dudelange. As a Guest Organist at Temple Square in Salt Lake City, he has the opportunity to introduce the Tabernacle Organ to visitors from around the world.
Boehmer's program is entitled "An Evening of Prayer". Works to be included are Campbell's "Fanfare from St. Anthony Suite", Franck's "Prière", Mendelssohn's Sonata No. 6, Bach's O Lamm Gottes, unschuldig BWV 656, Morel's "Prière pour orgue", and the Choral from Vierne's Symphony No. 2 for Organ.
