BEDFORD, MA - Beatrice Eileen (Lacy) Doucet of Bedford and Brookline (formerly of Centerville and Naples, FL) died on February 20, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Claude Doucet.

Loving mother of Michael Doucet and his wife Ivana of Lexington, John Doucet and his wife Christine of Cambridge, Paula Howard and her husband Michael of Chelmsford, Kate Malagodi of Groton, and Chris Doucet and his wife Kristin of Bedford.Loving grandmother of Nicole Malagodi, Garrett Malagodi, Pierre Doucet, Julia Doucet, Sean Doucet, and Kenny Doucet.Beatrice was one of six sisters: Mary Shepherd, Carol Nagle, Augusta Lacy, Kathy Ryan, and the late Dorothy McCann. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Sister Phyllis Doucet SMSM and several nieces and nephews.Bea will be remembered for her sincere love of spending time with her family and friends. She was at her happiest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Funeral from Shawsheen Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Michael’s Church, 90 Concord Road., Bedford at 10:30 a.m. Funeral home visiting hours on Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 4-8 p.m. Family and friends invited.
