BEDFORD, MA — For thousands across the country and in town, Monday is more than a day off from work but a day to honor those who served and continue to serve our country. To honor those service men and women in Bedford, the town is hosting it's annual Veterans Day Ceremony.

The ceremony will start at noon at Veterans Memorial Park, on The Great Road across from Bedford Shopping Center. Bedford’s Public Safety Honor Guard will escort the Patriotic Holiday Committee members and Dignitaries from Patriot Statue along the walkway to the Monument, while Parade March is being played by the Bedford Minutemen. Chaplain John Cooper of American Legion will lead the opening prayer.

Joe Piantedosi, Vice-Chair/Patriotic Holiday Committee will offer opening remarks and the Bedford Boy Scouts will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The Bedford High School marching band will play the national anthem.
