Bedford's Weekend Weather: Rain for Mother's Day

BEDFORD, MA - It's Mother's Day weekend and if you were planning on taking mom for an outdoor picnic on Sunday, you may want to make an alternate plan. Rain and showers are expected for Sunday.

While there's a slight chance of a shower on Saturday, it's definitely the drier of the two days but the sun won't be shining at all either day.

Here's a look at Bedford's weekend forecast:

• Saturday: Cloudy with a slight chance of a rain shower with a high of 58 degrees. Cloudy skies with fog developing overnight Saturday with a low of 46.

• Sunday: Light rain early followed by clouds and showers in the afternoon on Mother's Day with a high of 64. Skies clear for Sunday night and a low of 44 degrees.

We may finally see the sun as the upcoming week begins. The forecast calls for some sun on Monday and a sunny day on Tuesday – with no rain either day – and a high both days of 67.
