Police nearby placed a tire deflation device on the highway ahead of where the driver was traveling. The spike caused one of his tires to deflate but police say he continued to try to drive away.

The driver then exited I-95 onto Route 4 in Lexington, driving with a damaged wheel as he entered Bedford via Hillside Ave.
