Fuel Truck Rollover Prompts Hazmat Situation In Bedford

BEDFORD, MA — A fuel truck flipped over onto its side in Bedford Tuesday morning.

The truck flipped near 180 Hartwell Road just before 10 a.m., calling in a Hazmat crew, as well as the Bedford Fire Department, Police Department and Public Works to the scene, officials said.

Police say the accident resulted in downed wires and the road is currently blocked off.

Crews are asking everyone to avoid the area while they work to investigate and clean up the scene.

There has been no word of any injuries at this time.
