Whether hoping to reach academic, professional or personal goals, Middlesex Community Colleges knows that the key to students’ success is through education. A flexible and affordable option, Middlesex provides students with experiences inside and outside of the classroom that leads to long-term success and makes students’ time and money matter for their investment.

To highlight all that MCC has to offer, the college is hosting a virtual Open House from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17. The event will ensure that prospective students and their families have all of the information they need to start at Middlesex ahead of the Spring 2022 semester, according to Jillian Freitas-Haley, MCC’s Assistant Dean of Admissions.

“There is a lot of information a student needs to know when starting college and it can be an overwhelming process,” Freitas-Haley said. “Our Open Houses are designed to make everything feel easier and go smoother for our students. Featuring a line-up of knowledgeable experts throughout the college, the virtual Open House will allow participants to come away with the tools and information they need to be successful from day one of their time at Middlesex.”

During the virtual Open House, attendees can register for sessions in advance to learn more about steps to registration; financial aid opportunities; flexible course formats; academic, career and transfer advising; award-winning student support services; helpful resources; student engagement activities and more.

The event will use the software – SCHED – to provide a dynamic virtual experience. After registering for the Open House, participants will receive an email from SCHED providing them with instructions to sign-up for their preferred sessions.

Please note that Middlesex requires all students to be vaccinated in order to come to campus, as of January 2022. Students who are unvaccinated can still choose to take online classes and access online resources and student support services.
