Strong Wind Advisory for Bedford Wednesday

The National Weather Service says we could see sustained 15 TO 25 mph winds with gusts up to 45 mph throughout the day Wednesday.

BEDFORD, MA - Hold on to your hat or anything else you may be carrying today. Strong winds are in store for most the day Wednesday, March 2.

A weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Forecasts say in the wake of a strong cold front sweeping the region Wednesday morning, southerly winds will back out of the west, sustained 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

The timing of these winds and when we could see the greatest impact is roughly from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The winds, according to the National Weather Service, have the potential to cause downed tree limbs and power lines, resulting in isolated power outages.
