What's Open, Closed in Bedford on Labor Day?

BEDFORD, MA — The unofficial end to summer has arrived, with the Labor Day weekend now upon us.

Here’s what’s open and what’s closed on Labor Day in Bedford, and don’t forget - with the Monday holiday, trash and recycling will be delayed a day.

Town Hall and all town offices are closed Monday. This includes the Senior Center and the Public Library. All schools, both public and private, are closed as well.

All federal and state offices are also closed. This includes the Post Office, as well as the State Department of Emergency Management and other state public health offices.

Here is some additional information on what is open and closed on Labor Day:

• Banks - All banks are closed on Labor Day.
• Bars, Restaurants - All are open regular hours at the owner’s discretion.
• Liquor Stores - open at owner's discretion
