BEDFORD, MA – Thanksgiving will be observed this year on Thursday, Nov. 23, marking the official start of the holiday season. It also means there will be several closures around your neighborhood. Here's a list of what will be open and closed this year on Turkey Day.

  • Retail stores: Closed
  • Supermarkets, liquor stores: Closed
  • Convenience stores: Open at owner's discretion
  • Gyms: Closed or reduced hours
  • Bars and restaurants: Open at owner's discretion
  • Stock market: Closed
  • Municipal, state, federal offices and banks: Closed
  • Libraries and schools: Closed
  • Post office: Closed
