Boston PRIDE kicks off with Mega Block Party!

Boston kicks off its annual PRIDE month with a huge celebration of community and inclusion!

BOSTON PRIDE culminating its Pride Festivities with a Mega Block Party, held on St. James Ave. Boston, Back Bay with thousands of partygoers enjoying the great weather after the heavens opened up to a bright sunny Sunday afternoon on its guests. A perfect ending with great food, beverages, and more!

The high-energy event brought everyone surrounding the Stage to it’s DJ Headliner DANNY “SPARKLES”, cranked out the high-energy music, Opening the Party, a fully costumed outfit he made and put together! DANNY’S high energy enthusiasm kept the high-level music going!
Throughout the day, dancers, and singers performed on stage.
Danny “Sparkles” did not miss a beat!

The 2024 partygoers continued filling the street blocked on both ends from Arlington and Berkley!

The entrance provided a safe entrance with bag and body checks to all. Boston Police was very visible and kept an eye on all of us but also could not do enough to make everyone welcome.
One NEW ENGLAND SECURITY Officer Munoz Rodriguez, who buzzed up and down around guests on his Segway……was ever present while catching our eyes! A few other NEW ENGLAND SECURITY Officers who I interacted, such as Officer Steve “ACE” Cook and Officer Bruce Mc Callister seen wandering among us all, chatting and welcoming us while keeping an eagle eye out for us. Other NEW ENGLAND SECURITY Officers walking around the block party made sure that all attendees were welcome. Thank you!

So many happy men and women and a lot of long-lost reunions reunited. It brought all of us together, a day of reconnecting and a day of reflection from all the struggles and years of hard work to make Boston's Pride a huge success.

This weekend Boston Pride 2024 brought over a “MILLION” people here.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BOSTON PRIDE COMMITTEE AND ALL INVOLVED. YOU ARE VERY MUCH LOVED.
