The Dandee Donut Factory in Revere, home to more than 50 donut varieties and delicious diner food, is launching a new charitable initiative to benefit local and national charities.

‘Donuts That Make A Difference’ is a new campaign where customers will be able to purchase a specialized donut each month to benefit a non-profit organization. The campaign is kicking off with a special dog bone shaped donut to benefit the MSPCA-Angell, a national and international leader in animal protection and veterinary medicine and provides direct hands-on care for thousands of animals each year.

“We are very excited to launch the Donuts That Make A Difference charitable initiative as another way to give back to the community,” said David Ferrara, General Manager, The Dandee Donut Factory in Revere. “We look forward to raising as much money as possible for MSPCA-Angell during the month of August and for other worthy charities in future months. It’s a delicious way to make a difference.”

“It takes considerable funding to support MSPCA-Angell’s mission to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society in Massachusetts and across the country,” said Rob Halpin, Director of Communications, MSPCA-Angell. “We appreciate companies such as Dandee Donuts that want to help raise money to help fund animal protection and adoption, advocacy, humane education, law enforcement, and world-class veterinary care. We hope all animal lovers will stop in to Dandee Donuts and buy this month’s specialty donut.”

Donuts to benefit MSPCA-Angell will be available at The Dandee Donut Factory, located at 1141 Revere Beach Parkway in Revere, Massachusetts, every day during the month of August, while supplies last.
