Point32Health Volunteers in Partnership with National Braille Press

Volunteers Compile 150 Braille Children's Books

Boston, MA – (June 18, 2024) – Volunteers from Point32Health, the parent company of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, helped compile 150 braille copies of the children’s book I’ll Love You Till The Cows Come Home, in partnership with Boston-based National Braille Press (NBP). I’ll Love You Till The Cows Come Home is included in NBP’s Bumpy Basics, promoting early childhood reading and recommended for children up to 2 years old. The book extends the saying “I will love you till the cows come home” in a humorous extreme about the depths of family love.

“We truly value the volunteers from Point32Health who helped put together these new braille children’s books and have volunteered consecutively for 17 years,” said Brian Mac Donald, President and CEO, of National Braille Press. “We would not be able to provide children’s braille books for blind readers without the help of our corporate partners and volunteers.”

This activity was part of Point32Health’s annual Volunteer Week. This year more than 1,600 colleagues served at more than 85 projects across five states.

We are honored to support the work at National Braille Press.“
