Two People Found Dead At A Boston Beach Hours Apart: Police

Police are looking into the deaths of two men at Carson Beach Wednesday afternoon.

BOSTON — The deaths of two men at a Boston beach on Wednesday are currently being investigated.

Massachusetts State Police responded to a report of a drowning at Carson Beach near Mother's Rest around 1:30 p.m.

Crews removed the body from the water, but Boston police confirmed the unresponsive man was dead.

Then, around 3:35 p.m., state troopers received another report of an unresponsive man on Carson Beach, but closer to H Street. Officers say the man was found in the sand, roughly 25 feet from the water.

The man was only identified as a 51-year-old who police believe to be homeless. State police say no foul play is currently being suspected.
