Brookline Named One Of The Best Suburbs In The U.S.: Report

The Travel + Leisure ranking takes into consideration factors like amenities, restaurants, schools, and medical centers.

BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline has been named one of the best suburbs in the entire country to live in based on feedback from realators and livablity rankings, according to a new report in Travel + Leisure.

The ranking, which takes into consideration factors like amenities, restaurants, shops, entertainment, public schools, medical centers, and recreational facilities, placed Brookline at number six on its list of 10, citing its "proximity to some of Boston's most renowned landmarks, like the Museum of Fine Arts and Fenway Park, as well world-class medical facilities and universities.

It also has a housing market that's "becoming more balanced," Dave Costello, managing director at Advisors Living, told Travel + Leisure.
