BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline community members who want to learn more about the town’s budgeting process will have a chance to do so next week at a planned virtual information session, officials announced earlier this month.

The Brookline Town Budgeting Forum is set for Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. The event will take place over Zoom.

The forum, officials said on Jan. 10, will see Town Administrator Chas Carey discuss municipal finance and Brookline’s own budget process.

The forum is set to include an early outlook on Brookline’s 2024 fiscal year budget. Residents will also have an opportunity to provide input on town budget priorities, as noted in the town’s forum announcement.

The budget will continue to take shape over the coming months beyond Brookline’s upcoming budget forum. The budget will then eventually go before Town Meeting for approval in the spring.
