Major General L. Scott Rice Re-Appointed as Adjutant General of the Massachusetts National Guard

Major General Rice has served as Adjutant General since April 2012.

Governor Charlie Baker re-appointed Major General L. Scott Rice as Adjutant General of the Massachusetts National Guard on Tuesday, according to a recent press release.

Prior to being appointed Adjutant General, Major General Rice served as the commander of Massachusetts Air National Guard and as the Air National Guard assistant to the commander of the United States Air Forces in Europe.

“Major General Rice has done a tremendous job leading our National Guard and ensuring our troops maintain the utmost level of preparedness to protect the Commonwealth and serve our nation,” Governor Baker said. “Our administration is grateful for his service and confident he will continue to successfully lead the Massachusetts National Guard.”
