Ramp Reopens After Crash Into Woods Closes Danvers Route 1 Exit

The state Department of Transportation said the crash occurred shortly before 10 a.m. near Ferncroft Road.

DANVERS, MA — A crash into the woods closed an onramp on Route 1 southbound in Danvers late in the Thursday morning commute.

The state Department of Transportation said the crash occurred near Ferncroft Road shortly before 10 a.m.

MassDOT said that the crash scene was cleared at about 11:30 a.m. and the ramp was opened.
