DANVERS, MA — A rash of brush fires across Massachusetts on Tuesday included a "sizable outside fire in the wooded area behind Danvers High School," that crews worked to contain well into the evening.

"The majority of fire had been extinguished and the remaining hot spots did not pose a hazard of spreading beyond the already burned area."
