Danvers Veterans Day Ceremony Set For High School Auditorium

The Danvers Veterans Council and Town of Danvers Veterans Services Department will conduct their annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Danvers High School Auditorium, 60 Cabot Road, Danvers. The program, starting precisely at 11:00 A.M., will pay tribute to veterans living and deceased.

Guest speaker will be Thomas Moore who served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1970. He served two and a half years on the USS Intrepid, CVS11, as a Shipfitter, “R” Division and did one tour in Vietnam.

The program will include the following:

  • Invocation offered by Elisha Cho, Lead Pastor of the Danvers Church of the Nazarene.
  • Music provided by Danvers High School Advanced Chorus and Danvers Girl Scouts.
  • Taps, Armed Forces Medley, and drum roll by Danvers High School Marching Band.
  • Bagpipe music provided by Capt. Kenneth Reardon, Jr., Danvers Fire Department.
  • Gun salute by Danvers Alarm List Company.
