Habitat for Humanity's Peabody ReStore Closing

So you'll get amazing deals all summer long!

This summer will be the perfect time to get incredible deals on new and gently used furniture, home goods and fixtures at Habitat for Humanity’s Peabody ReStore.

As great a service as it provides to the community, the ReStore's purpose is to generate revenue to contribute to building affordable homes. With greatly increasing overhead costs, it has become apparent that the store will not be able to continue to provide that revenue to the mission of Essex County Habitat for Humanity.

The Peabody ReStore will be closing its doors on Saturday, September 3 and the team will be working hard until then to sell all of their merchandise through various storewide discounts.

Essex County Habitat’s Executive Director Meegan O’Neil explains, “By consolidating our ReStore operations into one location at the Lawrence store, we will be able to continue to generate the funds needed to build affordable housing though out Essex County.”

North Shore area shoppers and donors will continue to be served by Essex County Habitat at their Lawrence ReStore located at 647 Andover Street - just 3 minutes off of Rte 93 (take exit 42/River Road Andover). They will also continue to pick up donations on the North Shore – to request a pickup or donation drop off, visit https://www.essexcountyhabitat.org/shop/donate/. Lawrence ReStore hours are 10am – 5pm, Tuesday – Saturday.
