High-Speed Chase Through Fence Ends Near Danvers Cemetery: Reports

WBZ-TV reported the chase included a pickup truck crashing through a fence in a Middleton parking lot.

DANVERS, MA — A high-speed chase through the North Shore, which included the driver of a pickup truck crashing through a fence in a Middleton parking lot, ended with the suspect being tracked down near a Danvers cemetery on Tuesday.

WBZ-TV video showed police chasing a red pickup truck into a parking lot in Middleton. As officers approached the truck with guns drawn, the driver accelerated through a fence into an adjacent parking lot before jetting back out onto the street.

The station reported that police were able to find the suspect, who left the truck, in a wooded area near a Danvers cemetery where they placed him under arrest.
