Northeast Arc, a not-for-profit organization that helps children and adults with disabilities and autism become full participants in the community, has elected Mark Fischer to its board of directors.

Mark Fischer is General Manager of the Liberty Hotel in Boston, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Beacon Hill that is centrally located and steps away from shopping, dining and Boston Common. Fischer assumed his role at the Liberty Hotel in 2022 after serving as the General Manager of Revere Hotel Boston Common, and Westin Waltham Boston. Fischer began his hospitality career at the 5 Diamond/5 Star Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, Florida. He continued his career in the hospitality industry with leadership roles at hotels in New York City, Atlanta, and Newport, Rhode Island, among many others.

“I’m honored to be appointed as a member of the board of directors at Northeast Arc,” said Fischer. “Through my interactions with Northeast Arc, I’ve learned how people with disabilities can be an important part of the workforce and I want to help increase their representation in the hospitality industry.”
