Popular Touch a Truck Event to Return

Residents of Danvers and surrounding communities are invited to Touch a Truck, a free and fun-filled community event to celebrate summer --  and because toy trucks can’t compare to the real thing. The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 at the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers.

Truck fanatics of all ages are invited to Liberty Tree Mall to get an up-close look at a variety of vehicles, including:

• Police Cruiser
• Antique Fire Truck
• Ambulance
• Sheriff’s Department Transportation Van
• Ramp Truck
• Log Truck

The kid-friendly event will also include a jump house, door prizes and giveaways.

Visitors can also enter to win a door prize courtesy of American Red Cross of Massachusetts, Blue River Diamonds, Buffalo Wild Wings, Carter’s or March and Martin. In addtion, the first families to visit the registration table will receive a free ladies’ tee shirt, while supplies last.

WHEN: From noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, June 20.

WHERE: Liberty Tree Mall, back parking lot (behind Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, 100 Independence Way, Danvers

COST: Free to attend. *Suggested charitable donation of $5 to benefit the Simon Youth Foundation is greatly appreciated ($20 max, per family).

Local families can learn all about fun things happening in the area from Macaroni Kid North Shore and the Simon Kidgits Club. Interested parents can sign up for Simon Kidgits Club membership at Northshore Mall.
