Register to play or sponsor and support Essex County Habitat today!

Golfers should prepare their clubs and set their tees for this scramble format tournament with a 1:30 pm shotgun start, on Monday, May 22 at Ferncroft Country Club. Essex County Habitat for Humanity’s Golf Fore Homes tournament is back and registration is now open.

The opportunities to win won’t end on the course. Players will enjoy lunch, a cocktail reception, and an awards ceremony at the clubhouse following the tournament. The funds raised will support Essex County Habitat for Humanity in their mission to bring people together to build affordable homes, strengthen families and communities, and foster hope.

“Now more than ever, it’s so important for Habitat to build affordable homes. This event will raise crucial funds that will allow us to help even more families in need,” said Meegan O’Neil, the Executive Director at Essex County Habitat for Humanity.

Essex County Habitat for Humanity is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, the largest nonprofit homebuilder in the world. Essex County Habitat builds decent, safe, and affordable homes in partnership with the families who need them. In place of a down payment, each partner family works at least 240 sweat equity hours alongside volunteers to build their home and then carries an affordable 30-year mortgage. Since it was established in 1985, the affiliate has delivered on their mission for over 160 families in Essex County.

To help fund their work, Essex County Habitat operates a ReStore, located in Lawrence, where they sell quality new and previously owned furniture, appliances, building materials, and home goods at greatly reduced prices. To donate, volunteer, or learn more, please visit EssexCountyHabitat.org
