School Bus Crash In Dedham: Student, 2 Others Hurt

Massachusetts State Police said 14 children were aboard a school bus involved in a crash with a box truck and sport utility vehicle.

DEDHAM, MA — A student and two adults were injured Thursday morning after a crash between a school bus, box truck and sport utility vehicle on Interstate 95 at the Dedham-Westwood line, according to Massachusetts State Police. The crash happened on the northbound side of the highway near exit 14.

Fourteen students were on the school bus, which was carrying students from Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, police said. One student aboard the bus, the driver of the school bus and the driver of the SUV were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The right lane of traffic was closed but has since reopened.
