42 Percent Of Dedham Residents Received At Least One Vaccine Dose

Nearly 60 percent of Dedham residents over age 75 have received both doses, according to the state's data.

DEDHAM, MA — More than 1,700 of Dedham's oldest residents have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state’s data. Roughly a quarter of Dedham residents as a whole are fully vaccinated, up from 22 percent last week.

Roughly 16 percent of the town's residents have received just the first dose. About six in 10 residents ages 65 to 74 are fully vaccinated, and 20 percent in that age group have received just their first dose.

Dedham reported 62 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up to the state report released Thursday, placing it in the "yellow" zone.
