500+ Apartment Units Proposed for Dedham-Hyde Park Line

A new housing complex is being proposed for the area near the Readville train station.

HYDE PARK, MA — A 521-unit apartment could be on it's way to the edge of the Boston city limits.

The Noannet Group told the Boston Planning & Development Agency that they want to demolish several industrial buildings in the Readville area of Hyde Park near the Dedham line, according to the Boston Globe. In its place would be four new apartment buildings, a restaurant, and underground parking.

In a letter to the agency, Noannet principal Jordan Warshaw said the project is a chance to build middle-class housing near the Readville train station.
