Blue Bunny Book & Toy Store site of Pie in the Sky Fundraiser

Now in it's 30th year, Pie in the Sky, is Community Servings Pie Fundraiser that will provide meals to critically ill people.

Blue Bunny Book and Toy Store site of Community Servings Pie in the sky fundraiser. Volunteers, lead by local Dedham resident, Joanne Keaveny, will be at the Blue Bunny, 577 High Street, on Saturday, November 12 and Saturday, November 19th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm to take your pie order.

Pie in the Sky funds Community Servings’ philanthropic meal program, which
annually prepares and delivers more than 1,000,000 scratch-made medically tailored
meals to individuals and families across the state impacted by a range of critical and
chronic illnesses, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, HIV/AIDS, and
more. Right now, Community Servings is making 130% more meals than they were in
March 2020 due to pandemic.

How does it work? Stop by the Blue Bunny on the above dates or simply visit PieInTheSky.org/seller/joanne-keaveney to make a $30 donation and select your choice of locally-baked Apple, Pecan, or Pumpkin pie (Community Servings gift to you!) to serve on Thanksgiving. Not only will you enjoy one of the season’s most coveted desserts surrounded by the warmth of family and friends, but that first bite will taste even sweeter knowing you helped provide a week’s worth of meals to someone less fortunate.

No need for a pie this year? No problem! You still help by gifting a pie to someone
else, or you can purchase a ‘Pie for a Community Servings Client.’ Both options still
provide a weeks worth of meals for one of Community Servings clients. Sick clients get
fresh Thanksgiving dinner, pie and all their meals for the week and YOU get pie—all for
one price.

You can pick up your pie the TUESDAY before Thanksgiving (Nov. 22rd) at one of
dozens of conveniently-located pick-up sites. Please note the number of pies for sale is
limited – so visit www. PieInTheSky.org/seller/joanne-keaveney and donate to get your pie today before your favorite flavor is gone!
