Boston BeerVentures to Appear at 9th Annual Beer & Wine Tasting

The Friends of Dedham Civic Pride are happy to have Boston BeerVentures at their upcoming 9th Annual Beer and Wine Tasting. The event will be held at the Endicott Estate on Friday, November 4 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

Boston BeerVentures is a local company that curates craft beer experiences around Boston and beyond. Boston BeerVentures does private tastings in peoples' homes; can help in celebrating a milestone birthday or anniversary, and provide ways to explore a brewery in their taproom with exclusive tours and tastings, Boston Beerventures can create a unique event tailored to peoples' specific tastes. Their long-term involvement in the craft beer industry inside bars and restaurants, taprooms, as well as working with distributors, makes them uniquely qualified to share their love of beer.

Donating their local craft beers in support of Dedham Civic Pride are

• Castle Island Brewing who started brewing in 2015 and opened their Norwood taproom in 2017 and then In South Boston in 2021. They have won many Great American Beer fest awards, and their American Lager is a classic.
• Widowmaker Brewing who opened in Braintree in 2017 and grew exponentially during the Covid years. Their delicious New England-style IPA, Blue Comet, is featured locally at Oscar's and distributed up and down the east coast.
• Exhibit A who took over the original Jack's Abby space in 2016 and has been supporting local causes ever since. The Briefcase Porter is made with malts from Valley Malt in Hadley, MA. It is full of flavor but not heavy.
• Break Rock Brewing who just opened in March 2022 in Quincy's Marina Bay. and is killing it. They will be surprising us with one of their seasonal brews for this event.

Guests at the 9th Annual Beer and Wine Tasting can also sample tasty foods and desserts from local restaurants, take part in the Wine Pull Plus, where you might find a little something extra with your bottle of wine, and the popular raffle table.

Proceeds from the event will provide some of the funds necessary for the Friends of Dedham Civic Pride to continue their Blooms and Sponsor-A-Spot programs in the 2023 planting season.
