Dedham Celebrates Pride Month With Event Friday

The event will include a flag raising and guest speakers

DEDHAM, MA - The Town of Dedham and Human Rights Commission will be hosting the second annual LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration and Flag Raising at Town Hall on Friday.

The event begins at 7 p.m. in the front parking lot of Town Hall and will include performances by the Dedham School of Music Band and the Dedham High School Chorus and will include remarks from Dedham residents Max Gorman and Maureen Hurley as well as Principal Edward Paris.

All are invited to this family event that will also include free raffles, courtesy of many local businesses and community partners.

Access to the Town Hall parking lot will be limited to pedestrian traffic only as the event will take place in front of Town Hall. Free parking is available nearby in the Keystone Lot (22 Eastern Avenue), Lower Gonzalez Lot (351 East Street), and Upper Gonzalez Lot 420 Providence Highway).

A rain date is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7 at 7 p.m. Updates and announcements about this event will be shared on the town's website and social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
