Dedham Declares Snow Emergency For Tuesday, Dec. 3

The snow emergency is set for all day Tuesday.

DEDHAM, MA — The Town of Dedham declared a snow emergency on Monday as the first storm of the season brought heavy snow fall and is forecast to bring more on Tuesday. The emergency is effective from 12:00 a.m. Tuesday 12:00 p.m.

Winter Parking Regulations are still in effect. Anyone in violation of the ban could be towed.

The town reminded residents a few tips ahead of the emergency:
1. All residents with driveways are expected to use same and remove their cars from the streets.
2. Except where otherwise posted, residents without driveways will park on the EVEN side of the street during the even-numbered months, and on the ODD side of the street during the odd- numbered months. No parking on sidewalks.
3. No on-street nighttime parking will be allowed on:
East Street (High St to Rte128), Sprague Street, Common Street, East Dedham Sq., Bussey Street, Milton Street, Court Street, Oakdale Sq., Sanderson Ave., Needham Street, High Street, Dedham Sq., Ames Street, Washington St (Dedham line to Westwood line).
