Did you know that in the 1950’s there were over 90 drive-ins in Massachusetts? One of those drive-ins was right here in Dedham. August 11 is the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of the Dedham Drive-In. Come join local author and historian Jim Parr as he takes us through a presentation on the Dedham Drive-In and drive-ins in general. Find out what happened at the Dedham Drive-In in 1978 that almost lost them their license.
Jim Parr is the author of several books including Dedham: Historic and Heroic Tales from Shiretown and Murder and Mayhem in Metro West Boston. Jim is also author of the blog, DedhamTales.com.
