Dedham Partners With State To Vaccinate Homebound Residents
The homebound vaccination program run by the state starts on Friday.
DEDHAM, MA — The state is rolling out its homebound vaccination program on Friday and Dedham is partnering with the state to help residents participate.
Residents who are homebound and interested in a COVID-19 vaccine can schedule an appointment for an in-home vaccination through the State Homebound Vaccination Central Intake Line at 1-833-983-0485.
Residents who call the line for an appointment will be screened over the phone to for appropriateness for an in-home vaccine and will be connected to resources to schedule a vaccination.

Calls should be made Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. The line is available in English and Spanish, with access to translators in approximately 100 additional languages.
The state defines homebound as someone who either needs an ambulance or two-person assistance to leave the home, is not able to leave the home for medical appointments under normal circumstances, or has considerable difficulty and/or require significant support to leave the home for medical appointments.
