Dedham Police Make Drug Bust Thursday

The police confiscated mushrooms, THC oils, THC-filled candy bars, vape cartridges, and more than $250,000 in cash.

DEDHAM, MA - Dedham Police on Thursday seized drugs and more than $250,000 in cash from a Garfield Road residence, according to a televised report Friday night.

An investigation began when neighbors complained of suspicious activity at the home in what was decribed in the report as a "drive-thru drug store."

Police confiscated more than $250,000 as well as mushrooms, THC oils, THC-filled candy bars and vape cartridges.

The drugs may have been intended for underaged buyers, but that remains unclear at this time.

Chief Michael D'entremont confirmed that what was reported to the police department was neighbor suspicions of a "drive-thru pharmacy" that could be targeting young adults.
