Dedham Real Estate Firm Picks up $3.2 Million Cape Property

The land was historically home to the Briarwood Center and Marine Science complex.

Dedham, MA — A Dedham company has purchased an 11-acre parcel in Bourne.

The Boston Business Journal reports that Petruzziello Properties of Dedham bought the property from Dexter Southfield, a private school in Brookline, for $3.2 million.

The buying plans on using the waterfront parcel "as a family compound," broker Colliers International told the BBJ.

Located at 586 Shore Rd., the land was historically home to the Briarwood Center and Marine Science complex.

The sale was brokered by James Elcock, Christopher Sower, David Goodhue and Kevin Brawley of Colliers.
