Dedham School Of Music Announces Fall Registration

Sessions of varying lengths will be held for several woodwind and brass instruments

DEDHAM, MA - The Dedham School of Music, the town's only non-profit music school, announced on Monday the beginning of its fall registration period forinstument lessons, which begin on Sept. 12.

Executive Director Jody Pongratz said the school, located at 671 High St., will offer private and small group instruction for 30, 45 or 60 minutes on violin, voice, clarinet, flute, saxophone, percussion, piano, guitar, ukulele, trumpet and trombone.

Returning families who register by Friday, July 15 will lock in last year's rate for the fall term and have the first chance at getting the slot that they want if 25% of the tuition is paid in advance along with the registration.

"As always, we prefer payment in full prior to the start of the term but are happy to set up a payment plan of two, three or four installments," she said.

Credit cards can be used, but a 5% processing fee will be added to cover the costs paid to the credit card companies.
