Dedham Snow Emergency: Parking Ban, Town Hall Closed, and More

With around a foot of snow on the way, the town has declared a snow emergency.

DEDHAM, MA — With around a foot of snow on the way, the Dedham has declared a snow emergency.

A parking ban will be in effect from 7 a.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Friday. The town asks that residents make every effort to remove their vehicle from the street. If you must park on the street, please use the even-numbered side. Vehicles in violation of the parking ban and restrictions will be towed at the owner’s expense.

There will be no trash pickup Thursday and the rest of the week will be on a one-day delay.

All non-emergency office and the library will be closed. Public meetings will be rescheduled and the town bus will not operate.

If you have an emergency, call 911. Non-emergency calls can be directed to the Dedham Police Department's dispatch center at 781-751-9300. Power outages should be reported to Eversource at 1-800-592-2000.
