Dedham Snowstorm: Under A Foot Of Snow Possible

This is not what people expected for the start of spring.

DEDHAM, MA — Springtime is here and what better way to celebrate than with a reminder that the end of winter is still lingering around?

March 20 may be the start of a new season but the area is preparing for the fourth major snowstorm of March. With snow on the way, the National Weather Service has issued a 24-hour winter storm warning starting Wednesday at 8 a.m.

Dedham residents can expect the first flakes to fall Wednesday night and for the storm to continue until early Thursday morning. By the time it's all said and done, there could be a few inches of snow on the ground. The NWS's expected snowfall is in the range of 6 to 8 inches, which is lower than the original forecast of up to a foot of snow
