DEDHAM, MA — A favorite local hangout and restaurant is temporarily closed in Dedham. The Dedham Square Coffeehouse is closed and the Dedham Transcript reports the restaurant shut its doors for good.

Located at 565 High Street, The Dedham Square Coffeehouse sold an array of cozy food and drinks, including coffee of course, but was known for its live performances and trivia nights. The shows were open to all ages, making it a family friendly spot to enjoy music and good food.

Playing through the venue was usually Blues, Jazz, Country, Folk, Singer/Songwriter, Rock, Americana, or, as the website explains, "just abut anything we deem worthy at Dedham Square Coffeehouse." The restaurant also featured an art gallery with a semi-monthly rotation of exhibits.
