Dedham Storm Center: Blizzard Conditions Possible, Parking Ban

Residents can expect anywhere from 12 to 18 inches of snow Tuesday.

DEDHAM, MA — Here we go again, for the third time actually. Snow will begin late Monday night and persist for as long as 24 hours in parts of the state, making for an almost impossible Tuesday morning commute. Still, forecasters are hoping this storm brings less widespread power outages than the last two.

The latest bundle of snow means that the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning from 11 p.m. Monday night to 8 p.m. Tuesday. During this time, total snow accumulations of 10 to 15 inches, with localized amounts up to 18 inches, are expected, according to the NWS.

Towns from the coast to Interstate 95 are expected to be hit by the worst of this storm, meaning possible blizzard conditions. Wind gusts could hit 55 mph, the NWS said.
