Dedham Survivor Update: LaBelle "Survives" Another Week

It was a fairly quiet week on Survivor for Dedham's Bret LaBelle.

For Dedham’s Bret LaBelle, it was a fairly drama-less episode of Survivor.

This week's episode show mainly focused on the Takali Tribe and the search for an immunity idol and the relationship between Figgy Figueroa and Taylor Lee Stocker.. No drama on Survivor is a good thing and usually means an appearance on the next episode.

In the rewards challenge, one person had to direct their blindfolded teammates to puzzle pieces and then direct a still-blindfoled person to put the pieces in the right places. With too many people in his tribe, LaBelle stayed on the sidelines, comforting Hannah Shapiro, who experienced a panic attack during the excitement of the challenge.

Later in the immunity challenge, contestants had to run across a balance beam, grab coconuts, crack them open to find three smaller balls, and navigate a table maze with the balls. The first two teams to complete the maze three times earned immunity. LaBelle’s Ikabula Tribe was the first to complete the challenge and win immunity.

In tribal council, the Takali Tribe voted out Figgy on a 3-2 vote, breaking up the couple of her and Taylor. Ken McNickle received the other two votes.
