DEDHAM, MA - Each year since Papa Gino’s began its Fire Safety program in October 1993, the restaurants have partnered with fire stations across New England to support local fire safety initiatives during the month of October. Papa Gino’s will be donating extra large pizzas to fire departments as an extension of its "Pizza My Heart" program, in which Papa Gino’s seeks out community heroes and delivers them free pizza as a sign of appreciation for the work they do in their communities.

Separately, Papa Gino’s will also be donating kid’s firefighter hats, coloring and activity sheets, and free slice coupons to be distributed at select open houses hosted at fire stations throughout Fire Prevention Month. Since the program’s inception, Papa Gino’s has supported more than 1,800 fire stations, giving away over 100,000 large pizzas and more than 1.5 million activity sheets, educational flyers, hats and coupons.

“Papa Gino’s looks forward to partnering with organizations across New England for many reasons but our long-standing partnership in support of Fire Prevention Month every October is one we look forward to every year” said Papa Gino’s CMO Deena McKinley. “We are so grateful for all the sacrifices our local heroes make every day, and we are honored to help them raise awareness for fire prevention programs by bringing delicious pizzas and educational resources to support their initiatives during this important month.”
