DEDHAM, MA — Roadworthy, a restaurant specializing in unconventional dishes more commonly found at food trucks, is closing.

The Washington Street eatery's doors shut for good this Sunday, the restaurant announced on its Facebook page. Roadworthy's owners thanked the community for supporting them since day one. The statement said:

It is with pride and dignity that Roadworthy was built. A family of passionate foodies that included husband, wife, sons, daughters, cousins, friends, servers, and dishers. Thank you to all of you for taking the ride and helping Roadworthy to become the gem that it was when it ended. Most of all we would like to thank the folks and friends in Dedham and the surrounding communities for welcoming and supporting us.

The restaurant was first founded in 2016 and became an unconventional dining spot, serving "outlandish" foods of all types, including schnitzel, pizza, beef stroganoff, breakfast biscuits, and more. Roadworthy hopes people with gift cards can make it over before the eatery closes, but said they will do their best to refund money for those who can't make it.
