Keep Cars Off Street During Freeze Over: Dedham Police

As temperatures continue to drop, follow the rules of the parking ban before any snow or slush freezes over.

DEDHAM, MA — Although the snow is done, the storm parking ban is still in effect as municipal crews work to clean up the roads before Sunday evening's freeze over.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to drop to a low of 3 degrees. Please use the following parking rules to ensure crews can do their jobs.

  • All residents with driveways are expected to use them and remove their cars from the streets.
  • Except where otherwise posted, residents without driveways will park on the even side of the street during the even-numbered months, and on the odd side of the street during the odd-numbered months.
  • No parking permitted on sidewalks.
  • During the parking ban on-street, night time parking is prohibited on:

Ames Street
Bussey Street
Common Street
Court Street
Dedham Square.
East Dedham Square
East Street (High Street to Route 128)
High Street
Milton Street
Needham Street
Oakdale Square
Sanderson Ave
Sprague Street
Washington Street (Boston line to Westwood line)
